Title:Introduction to Eisenstein series and their applications

Abstract: Classical Eisenstein series provide concrete examples of modular forms. One way to achieve Langlands functoriality is to study Eisenstein series and their constant terms. In this expository talk, we explain both classical and adelic Eisenstein series as well as their applications.
